Kia ora Maia. Wow what a great way to present your facts. It was very engaging and I enjoyed the way your images matches your facts. Did you vote in the bird of the year contest? I couldn't believe the result this morning!
Hello Phil. Yes, originally I put in a Kiwi, but then on Monday I saw a cute picture of a Tomtit, but voting was closed. Thanks for the comment. Which bird/bat did you pick? Stay safe!
Kia ora Maia, thank you for sharing your Tomtit slideshow. You have included some interesting facts. I really like the male South Island tomtit due to his yellow colourings. Have you seen this one?
Hello Sarah. No, I haven't, but I have seen a silvereye, because when we were at the supermarket we saw one right in front of our car. Thanks for the comment. Have you seen a South Island tomtit before? Stay safe!
Kia ora Maia, no, unfortunately I haven't seen one. It was on my list (along with the black piwakawaka) when I was in the South Island earlier this year. I do like the waxeye/silvereye too. I think because of their size, they are a super cute bird. My mother used to have a bird feeder in the garden specifically for them. Do you have a bird feeder in your garden?
Kia ora Maia, I work as a facilitator in schools, like Phil. I love the way you have shared your facts in canva. I have never created a presentation like that in canva, only an image. I will have to explore more. I haven't seen a SI tomtit either! I see lots of tui and some kereru round our house. What native birds do you see in your garden? Ngā mihi, Maria
Hello Maria. I see quite a lot of birds in my garden because I live in Titirangi, which is a place with lots of trees, but I see lots of Tui's, Kereru, Fantails, Kingfishers and Moreporks. What's your favourite bird?

Kia ora Maia. Thanks for your reply. I voted for ruru. What do you think about the bat winning?
