Kia ora, Maia. Wow! I can see why this took you a while to write. Well done on making a really interesting children's book that spanned a few years. I am wondering if your story is more suited to the middle school (Year 3 and 4, possibly older), rather than the juniors. Do you think that the juniors would understand your quite sophisticated storyline?
ReplyDeleteKia ora Maia. I enjoyed reading your story. Did you have any ideas in mind for what the big themes were? I can see identity as being a big idea in this book. I wonder if this could be a useful message for children growing up in terms of not worrying too much about what other people think. My favourite book would be anything by Terry Pratchett. Have you read any of his books?
